The Collar with Set Screws is used to attach the motor to the torsion bar. The collar can be set on either side of the LiftMaster Garage Door Opener 3800, depending on which side of the garage door the operator is mounted on. Easily tighten the collar to get the right fit and properly secure the door. The LiftMaster Collar 41B6299 is a replacement part and is made by LiftMaster for a perfect fit.

It is designed for residential sectional doors with torsion assemblies only. The collar has a 1-inch (2.5 cm) diameter opening. The torsion bar of the garage door must extend between 1 and 5 inches past the bearing plate to work with this collar.
