10MS41 Stainless Steel Touchless Actuator With Adjustable Range And Relay Hold Time

The BEA 10MS41 touchless actuator with adjustable range and relay hold time is available for purchase at North Shore Commercial Door. Part of the Magic Switch product family, this “Wave To Open” sensor reduces touchpoints and is perfect for use in healthcare facilities (hospitals, pharmacies, etc.), clean rooms, sterile facilities requiring hygienic activation, and washdown resistant applications. Using microwave doppler radar technology, the 10MS41 provides reliable detection in any environment. The built-in sensor can detect objects such as hands, wheelchairs, and carts at an adjustable range of 4-24 inches. The range can be adjusted by a potentiometer on the sensor. The 10MS41 features a stainless-steel faceplate for tough environments and features an IP55 rating (apply silicone during installation to achieve IP65). A customizable LED ring and audible signaling allow users to know when the sensor has been activated. Thanks to extensive testing from BEA, the 10MS41 has three certifications EMC: 2004/108/EC, FCC: G9B-210161, and IC: 4680A-210161. The 10MS41 comes in three different sizes, and two plate graphic options. Available sizes include single-gang, double-gang, and six-inch round. COMMON APPLICATIONS:

• REQUEST-TO-EXIT – The 10MS41 can be used on low energy doors with a “2-relay sequencer and door position’ to increase facility security and accessibility. This application requires the use of the FLY KIT, BR3-X (function 28), and a UL listed maglock or electric strike
• EASY RETROFIT – Replace existing push plates in healthcare facilities with the 10MS41 and eliminate the need for additional wiring. This application requires the use of 10TD900TR
• INTERLOCK SEQUENCING – For applications like sterile facilities that require entry through one door at a time, the 10MS41 can be used in tandem with BR3-X (function 50)
• WASH-DOWN RESISTANT – In facilities that get washed down such as surgical rooms, the IP55 or IP65 (with use of silicone) rating keeps the electrical components of the 10MS41 safe
