Microcell Photo Safety Beams by BEA are now available from North Shore Commercial Door. The Microcell is a set of active infrared beams offering protection in the threshold of a sliding door or on the guide rails of a swinging/folding door. The Microcell's transmitter sends an infrared beam to a receiver that, if broken by a person, animal or object, will deactivate the door until the infrared connection is restored. Due to the compact design, the Microcell system can be used in single or double doors, as well as specific applications such as railways, security entrances, etc. Microcell maximum detection range is 197 inches with an 8˚ alignment tolerance when mounted 8 inches above ground. Microcell active infrared technology is immune to ambient light (sunlight or artificial lighting).

10MICRO1DADAPT is a double photo safety beam adapter kit that allows for Microcell beams to replace Optex beams without running a new cable. Kit includes two (2) sets of Microcell emitters / receiver heads, two (2) 10MICROCELLADAPTER and one (1) control box.
