BEA Request to Exit Sensor 10R2E-100

The 10R2E-100 by BEA is now available at North Shore Commercial Door.  The UL 294 / ULC S319 Listed 10R2E-100 uses an active infrared detection zone focused directly on the door handle and only detects people intending to exit through the door. This is achieved through the specific act of reaching for the door handle. The active infrared based 10R2E-100 improves accuracy of detection as compared to passive infrared technology including ground based errors, sensor spoofing and known vulnerabilities (hot air, background objects, cross traffic, etc.).

The 10R2E-100 has an adjustable tilt angle from 0˚ to 10˚ and the low profile sensor mounts on or above the door frame. Adjustable detection range from 20 to 48 inches (can accommodate swinging doors up to 7 feet). The 10R2E-100 features multiple re-locking modes for timed or door position conditions. The relay output consists of two Form "C" contacts for NO/NC wiring. Adjustable, built-in audible alarm notes activation. 3 DRY auxiliary inputs: request to exit, card reader and push button.
