BEA Eagle Microwave Motion Detector

This item is discontinued. Please view this replacement item:

The Eagle Overhead Activation Sensor for Automatic Doors (Item# 10EAGLE) by BEA is in-stock at North Shore Commercial Door. The Eagle is a motion sensor that uses Microwave Doppler Radar to detect motion. It is universally compatible with all makes and models of swinging, sliding, and revolving automatic doors that require a motion sensor to be mounted between 6-ft. and 13-ft. The Eagle HM (sold separately - Item# 10EAGLE1HM) is a modified version of the Eagle that is suitable for larger format doors in industrial applications that require a sensor to be mounted between 13-ft. and 16.5-ft. Both the Eagle and the Eagle HM can accurately detect motion as slow as 2-in. per second.

The Eagle Family of Motion Sensors uses sophisticated unidirectional radar to intelligently detect approaching traffic while ignoring motion traveling away from the door. Immunity settings screen out interferences such as rain, snow, conflicting radio frequencies and header vibration. These features can improve energy efficiency by eliminating false activations. The Eagle also features a compact, low profile design and includes both narrow and wide antennae.
