BEA SuperScan II Active Infrared Presence Sensor 10SSTII

 The SuperScan II 10SSTII door mounted safety sensor by BEA is available for purchase from North Shore Commercial Door. The SuperScan II 10SSTII active infrared presence detection sensor uses triangulation to detect pedestrians and eliminate false detections caused by varying floor and environment conditions. The SuperScan II 10SSTII is intended for use with automatic swinging, revolving, folding and low energy doors.

The SuperScan II 10SSTII incorporates (1) master module and (1) slave module per housing. It can be daisy chained with up to 9 slave modules. Due to this flexibility, the SuperScan II 10SSTII can be used on narrow or wide doors. Each module detection zone can be independently angled to eliminate unwanted detection of guide rails or walls. Coupled with BEA's Bodyguard overhead presence sensor, the SuperScan II 10SSTII meets ANSI 156.10 standard relating to swing doors. Suggested use for 36" door leaf.

The SuperScan II 10SSTII Includes: 1 Master module and 1 Slave module per housing. Overall length is 34.5 in. end cap to end cap.
