The CN102-20-W Heavy Duty Bottom Weather Seal from Action Industries is a great solution to those who need a thicker, industrial weather seal. Perfect for residential, commercial or industrial applications, the CN102-20-W Weather Seal fits into standard 1/4 inch T-slot bottom seal retainers that are commonly found on sectional overhead or rolling steel doors such as fire doors. The Heavy Duty Bottom seal is made out of Santoprene, which is a thermoplastic vulcanizate or TPV for short. Similar to EPDM rubber, Santoprene weighs 30% lighter while having the same durability and lifespan as EPDM.
Due to its ability to withstand harsh temperatures, Cornell Cookson previously used this seal on legacy model fire doors under the name of Featheredge or Phantom Featheredge. The units that are compatible with Cornell Cookson’s Featheredge are models FDO-A, FDO-A10, and FDO-B.
