EMX Flat Pack LRS-FP-100 is a magnetoresistive direct burial sensor with a 100' lead wire that stores ambient background and settings in a non-volatile memory. Engineered for direct use with EMX Single Cut Magnetoresistive Vehicle Detector Control Unit LRS-C1 (Formerly known as the CarSense CS303-C-1)

The EMX Flat Pack LRS-FP-100 sensor measures Earth's magnetic field and responds to disturbances caused by ferrous objects. Three sensing elements provide magnetic field measurement in the X, Y and Z axis, improving detection sensitivity. Stand-alone sensor with solid state output. Fast response for high-speed detection. The sensor is designed to be selective to help reduce false triggers. Detect-On-Stop (DOS) feature will allow detection only when a vehicle has come to a complete stop on the sensor. This is a worldwide unique feature to EMX sensors. It is a major advantage if you want to ignore cross traffic in tight spaces.

In contrast to the multiple cuts and corner reliefs required for the installation of inductive loops, the small size of the Flat Pack detector allows for easy installation in the pavement (below grade) with straight saw cut resulting in cost savings on labor and materials.

The EMX Flat Pack LRS-FP-100 unit was formerly known as the CS303-FP-100 and works with CarSense magnetoresistive Vehicle Detector products by EMX.

The LRS-FP-100 sensor provides up to a 5ft sensing range in all directions. Once the sensor(s) has been programmed using theLRS-C1 Control Unit, the Sensor(s) stores the settings and operates independent of the Control Unit and can be connected to the LRS-LC Logic Interface. The LRS-LC Logic Interface allows two (2) sensors to be connected with one output to extend the detection area to 5 x 10ft.

***Important Note***

  • The EMX Flat Pack Sensor is for direct burial only and not for installation above ground like the EMX Direct Burial Sensor, (LRS-DB-50/LRS-DB-100), that can be buried below ground or installed above ground (i.e. next to a building).
  • The sensors have identical electronic boards but the electronics are contained in a different housing.
  • The Flat Pack is meant to be inserted into a cut in the pavement (concrete or asphalt) and sealed with epoxy. It is not meant to be exposed to the elements.
  • The electronics of the LRS-DB-100 are sealed with epoxy and can be mounted anywhere.
  • This item includes the burial sensor only with 100' lead wire. Other components sold separately.
