PowerMaster Model MG Door Operator for Sectional Doors with High Lift or Vertical Lift and Rolling Service Doors & Grilles
PowerMaster model “MG” is an Industrial Duty Hoist type operator that is used on sectional doors with high lift or vertical lift, rolling service doors, and grilles. The primary speed reduction is through an industrial gear box with bronze worm gear in an oil bath. The motor is high starting torque and continuous duty industrial guarded from overload by a current sensing or thermal type overload device. The motor controller is full voltage, heavy duty, across the line, magnetic reversing contractor, and it is electrically and mechanically interlocked. Electrical components in a NEMA 1 enclosure integral to the operator. A transformer is supplied to limit control voltage to 24 VAC. Individual terminal strips are supplied for power supply line connection and all control devices. The operator is wired for an Open/Close/Stop control station. The control circuit gives instant reverse motor wiring on single phase operators. The positive chain driven, rotary type limit switches are supplied to reduce full open and close of travel of the door. The limit switch adjustment is not changed by the removal of the motor or by manually operating the door. A floor level manual hoist chain is supplied for emergency operation of the door. There is an electrical interlock switch which is given to disable the control circuit while the manual hoist chain is operating. The final drive chain is a #50 or larger roller chain. The operator is capable of right or left hand mounting in either a horizontal or vertical position.
