Tucker Auto-Mation THE BAT Motion Sensor

This item is discontinued. Please view this replacement item:

North Shore Commercial Door now carries the BAT Motion Sensor by Tucker Auto-Mation. The Bat is a microwave motion sensor using Doppler Effect radar technology. Used for primary or secondary activation on automatic pedestrian doors. It may be paired along with any of our swinging, sliding, folding and revolving doors. Easily switches between a wide or narrow detection pattern and offers several horizontal and vertical angle adjustments to allow total flexibility to conform to any environment or application. The BAT sensor is capable of providing a wide or narrow detection pattern based upon the antenna selection. For horizontal adjustment, an offset pattern can be achieved by rotating antenna left or right.

The BAT offers state-of-the-art "DRO Technology" (DIELECTRIC RESONATOR OSCILLATOR) for the most reliable detection of people and vehicles. "Micro-Motion" detection capability prevents premature closing of the door due to slow moving people and reduces "fright factor" that leads to frivolous lawsuits. The BAT also has the ability to recognize the direction of traffic for maximum energy conservation savings.
